we have now got the majority of the filming out of the way leaving us two weeks to edit our clip and get any extra shots we need.

the final outcome is the introduction to a film loosely based on films like adulthood, kidulthood and bulletboy. the introduction shows a car chase ending with the death of the protagonist, our idea for the rest of the film is to go back in time showing the events leading to the protagonists death beginning with an equilibrium.

  

This clip shows the group discussing the opening scene, and how best to edit together the shots we had filmed. We came to the decision that we'd cut the shots together at a fast pace, to go with the backing track and to convey the speed of the chase to the viewer. We messed around with it for a while, changing the clip order and the length of the cuts, and we think the final outcome is pretty good. It shows the speed well, and grips the viewer from the outset.
